The Itinerary

Day One | 12 January

Arrive at Jaipur Airport and drive to Nahargarh Ranthambhore, arriving around 1:30 pm. The drive is approximately 3 hours. Check in, refreshments, and a traditional thali lunch.

MAKAR SANKRANTI AT ARJUN MAHAL

Tucked away at the far end of the palace hotel are Arjun Mahal’s sprawling gardens, where guests gather by 4:30 pm for a celebration of Makar Sankranti, complete with kite flying and a high tea spread featuring regional favourites.

BARBECUE AT THE BAGEECHI

Freshen up and step out to the Bageechi for cocktails and an outdoor barbecue to kick off the evening by 8:00 pm. Created in tandem by the Masque and Nahargarh Ranthambhore chefs, the barbecue features specials and new creations from both venues, set against the picturesque backdrop of the royal palace hotel.

DRINKS AT THE DEN

After dinner, shift base to the private den for the remainder of the evening, with signature drinks served up behind the bar and music curated by Abhimanyu Alsisar, co-creator of Magnetic Fields.

Day Two | 13 January

A light brunch by the pool.

THE SAFARI

Guests head out into the lush forests of Ranthambore by 2:30 pm for its most celebrated experience: tiger safaris. On board are also Masque picnic baskets, equipped for a decadent mid-afternoon snack amidst unbeatable views.

Guests will arrive back at the hotel around 6-6:30 pm.

DINNER AT HATHI KUND

At the centre of the palace hotel lies the stunning Hathi Kund, a marble stepwell of exemplary craftsmanship. This is the setting for drinks and dinner this evening, illuminated by thousands of dimly lit lamps and accompanied by local classical musicians. The 10-course tasting menu, crafted by Masque’s Head Chef Varun Totlani, will take inspiration from the surrounding regions of Rajasthan, interpreted with the restaurant’s approach to modern Indian cuisine. Seating will be community-style.

Day Three | 14 January

Breakfast/brunch; depart for Jaipur Airport.
